TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET BAĞLAMINDA ALEV ALATLI ROMANLARINDA ÖZNE-İKTİDAR İLİŞKİSİ
Özet
The configuration of all the rules determined by societies for the genders through the history within a cultural framework is not independent of the power relations. The role of the power relations in forming the social genders is shaped according to the cultural dynamics of each society. Therefore, discourse structure of relations in developing social gender system changes according to each society’s values. The development of the power-based mechanism of social gender structure in Turkey often has two dimensions. Multiple sexual orientation is present as a result of the development of a hegemonic masculinity and externalisation of homosexuality by heterosexuality. The correspondence of social gender structure in Alev Alatlı’s novels in life practices will be handled within this framework. The process of the development of hegemonic masculinity and multiple sexual orientation will be presented within the framework of power relations.
