Language philosophy is a field that discusses and answers language questions and allows many new theoretical problems to come to fruition. Language and mother tongue consciousness, language root and diversity of languages, language-culture-thought relation, language and meaning problem are the subjects of language philosophy. The language in which an individual begins to use it from a young age, is going to be used at more complex levels in later ages. Although it seems like a natural process for the child to know the language well from the earliest times, it is a long learning process. This sets the ground for theoretical discussions and experimental work on the language and thinking of the learning field. When these theories are examined, it is seen that behavioral theory loses its importance and the theory of active learning, which gives priority to mental activities, is put forward. These new theories have certain philosophical bases. Moreover, most of the ideas on language and thinking from the first century philosophers shed light on today. Turkish lessons are the focus of language teaching. It is expected that students will be able to contribute to their mental processes with the studies conducted in Turkish lessons. Many learning activities, ranging from language skills to mental skills, are within the scope of Turkish language courses. The philosophical debates about language explain the language with its changing, dynamic structure that derives it from being static and keeps it alive all the time. These discussions and theories deal with the language in detail and provide information on the content that facilitates learning from the point of view of the learner in relation to language. It is thought that language teaching can be used especially in discussions about language philosophy if taking support in informative philosophical texts in Turkish language courses is left aside. According to this, Turkish lessons can be supported by philosophy in many fields such as the general knowledge of the language to the choice of text, teaching vocabulary and the development of the ability to think. In this research, 'language learning' was taken into the center. Culture, thinking and learning issues were emphasized and the necessity of using language philosophy in mother language teaching had been tried to be presented with some study suggestions based on a theoretical basis.
