Abstract


NATURAL ELEMENTS TO WHICH NECIP FAZIL KISAKUREK IDENTIFY HİMSELF IN HIS POEMS
Scientific studies on Einfühlung theory reveal that einfühlungün is related to various disciplines besides aesthetic art branches. Among these disciplines, especially literatureembodies a great deal ofsources that can be examined in the context ofeinfühlung theory. Among the most important poets of Turkish literature such as Tevfik Fikret, Yahya Kemal Beyatli, Ahmet HamdiTanpınar, and Ziya Osman Saba have been read and analysed in the context of einfühlung relation. All these studies are important for showing the close relation of einfühlung theory to literature. But the magnitude of studiesconducted in this area is rather limited. To this end, the main purpose of this research is to provide a practical example of the close relation between einfühlung theory and literature and to contribute to the academic literature done in this area. The very purpose of our study is to analyse the objects that Necip Fazıl Kisakürek used for his rhetorical purposes in the aesthetic-worthy philosophical poetry in the context of connection with einfühlungtheory. In the current study, the book “Cile” was determined as the population and the findings were restricted to the natural objects. The objects that the subject set identifications were evaluated under the three subcategories as the elements belonging to animal species, plant species, and non-living species. As a result of the evaluation, three important findings were achieved.Firstly,the objects that the poet associates with einfühlung carry a symbolic value according to the advent of the bumpy life.Secondly, the poet, who has focussed his art on the suffering of thoughts, has established an identity relation with the objects according to the mood he lives and transformed this identification into an aesthetic pleasure. Lastly, the poet utilized the natural objects that were set for identification for the rhetorical purposes and these rhetorical elements raised theesthetical value of his poems.
