FUZÛLÎ’NİN GAZELLERİNDE ARUZ UYGULAMALARI: FUZÛLÎ’NİN MED KULLANIMININ BÂKÎ’YLE MUKAYESESİ

Özet

Aruz prosody that gives rhythm to the word in Divan Literature also contributes to the harmony. The harmony in aruz comes out with the practices that the poets apply in order to adapt the poem to the form. The poets tried to use these practices to support meaning and to contribute to harmony. The characteristics of longer reading of syllable both in med and imale, put these two applications at the forefront in reflections of the emotional factors and the voice. The fact that these applications combined with other elements of harmony on the poem makes it necessary to evaluate them in this direction. This study is a continuation of the work of “Applications of Prosody in Fuzûlî’s Ghazels: The Comparison of Fuzûlî’s Usage of Imales to Bâkî” which analyzed Fuzuli's aruz applications and his savings around these practices and illuminated one aspect of the poet’s style. In the study, it is questioned how and why Fuzûlî used “med” in ghazel section of his Turkish Divan. Fuzûlî’s med enjoyment, his ways of providing harmony with med were compared to the other great poet of the same century, Bakî. Also, the points that Fuzûlî merged with and seperated from Bâkî have been shown. It has been investigated how aruz applications and some savings based on these applications should be seen and whether they are related to the meaning and harmony with reference to these two poets’ med perception.
