TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETMENİ ADAYLARININ YABANCI UYRUKLU ÖĞRENCİLERİN SORUNLARINA İLGİLERİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Özet

The aim of this research conducted by survey method is to study the interests of Turkish teacher candidates studying in Kafkas University in the problems of foreign students. 144 Turkish teacher candidates studying in Kafkas University were included in the study where the sample was determined by the simple random sampling method. In the research, the tool used to collect data was “The Talking Anxiety Scale for Teacher Candidates” developed by Polatcan, Bozkırlı and Er (2018). The scale has four sub dimensions namely “interest in cultural problems,” “interest in sociocultural problems,” “interest in problems other than courses,” and “interest in problems related to courses,” and 21 articles. At the end of the research where the data analysis was performed through the SPSS 17.0 package software, it was determined that Turkish teacher candidates were moderately interested in foreign students’ problems, that their interests do not differ according to gender or whether there is a refugee camp in their home town or not and that they agreed or partially agreed with the articles of the scale.
