3-10 YAŞ ARASI GELİŞİMSEL PROBLEMLERİ OLAN ÇOCUKLARDA VE EBEVEYNLERİNDE FİLİAL TERAPİNİN ETKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Özet

The purpose of this study was to examine whether the Child-Parent Relationship Therapy training, a kind of Filial Therapy, was effected on children and their parents with developmental problems between the ages of 3 and 10 years. This research was quasi-experimental model with pretest-posttest experimental group and it was conducted with the participation of seven mothers and their children in Erzurum province. Mothers who participated in the study were given Child-Parent Relationship Therapy training for 3 hours a day for ten weeks. Filial Problem Checklist, Porter Parental Acceptance Scale and Measurement of Empathy in Adult-Child Interactions were administered as pre-test and post-test and video recordings of the play sessions were analyzed in the data collection. Training and special play sessions were carried out in the education and play room organized at Atatürk University Kazim Karabekir Education Faculty in accordance with this purpose. After the analysis of the data, it was seen that Child-Parent Relationship Therapy training decreased the developmental problems of children and increased the levels of parental acceptance and empathy of the parents.
