SÜHAN MEYDANINDA İKİ KEMÂNKEŞ: NEFÎ VE NEVÎZÂDE ATÂYÎ

Özet

XVIIth century in which the Ottoman Empire suffered great economic, political and social crisis. Nefî, who became the expression of the effects of chaos and disorder in the state with the satirical language on society, used a brutal and harsh language against the statesmen and poets of the period with his satires. Against Nefî, there is Nevîzâde Atâyî who responds with the same hardness to the language he used in this century. Looking at the poems of these two poets against each other, it turns out that there is a very serious hostility between the two poets. These poets did not criticize each other not only through the works they wrote, but also when they filed, they made heavy accusations and insults against each other's personalities. The most important result of these insults is the hatred and hatred that is manifestly revealed. In our study, the poems with insults and abusions that Nefî and Nevîzâde Atâyî wrote against each other were examined and details of the hostility formed between these two poets were tried to be conveyed.
