SEVİNÇ ÇOKUM’UN ROZALYA ANA ADLI HİKÂYESİNDE EŞDİZİMSEL ÖRÜNTÜ GÖRÜNÜMLERİ VE KELİMELERİN DUYGU DEĞERİ ÜZERİNE

Özet

Literary language, which constitutes one of the most advanced areas of the standard language, searches for a unique way by pushing the limits of the language's daily usage patterns. This quest gains a more distinct and attentive look in the pen of female writers. In this study, the works of Sevinç Çokum which we are going to examine her story named Rozalya Ana, are the best examples for this area. Social events, which makes individual effects on people, is projected greatly by Sevinç Çokum works, with an effective language use. In the story named Rozalya Ana the Crimean Turks, who were exiled to the desolate lands of Central Asia by Stalin at the end of the Second World War, are storied their returning to own land again. Text linguistics, which forms the theoretical framework of this research, is a branch of linguistics that aims to identify texts defined as linguistic units with a communication function in accordance with the principles such as cohesion and coherence in terms of their relationship with the proximity, compatibility, outside world or the plane of reference beyond grammar and text grammar, and to provide a formal definition in this field. In this study, carried out in the nature of the qualitative research method, the story called Rozalya Ana was interpreted by using basic approaches and concepts such as repetition and collocation pattern revealed by text linguistics, the emotional value of used words has been mentioned, and the language and style of the author were also emphasized. In the text, where motifs such as migration, cold and pressure come to the fore, it was determined that the words not euphories are more than word euphories.
