YESEVİ ŞAİRİ ŞEMS-İ ÂṢÎ VE CÜHÛD-NÂME’Sİ

Özet

In this article, two texts named Cühûd-nâme and their property belonging to Şems-i Âsî included in the journals written in Arabic letters registered in Abu Reyhan El Biruni Manuscripts Library Hamid Süleyman Fondu 415-VIII, 1322 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, are presented to us. In this study, a Cühûd-nâme text, which has an incomplete ending, is discussed. The text was written in transcription alphabet and the edition was criticised. The phonetic and morphological features of the text, which shows the Chagatai Turkish features, have been tried to be revealed briefly. In the conclusion part, the data obtained as a result of the examinations were presented and various suggestions were made to new researchers. As a result of our study, it has become clear that Şemseddįn Özkendî and Şems-i Âsî are the same person, and two new works, named Mahşer-nâme and Vefat-nâme-i Hazrat-i Bibi Fatima, have been added to his five known works. A facsimile of the manuscript has been added at the end of the study.
