TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARINDA METİN SADELEŞTİRME ÜZERİNE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Özet

The aim of this study is to reveal the extent of simplification as a result of comparison of a simplified text in Turkish textbooks with the original text. In this regard, readability level, sentence structure and the changes that were made on the words and word groups have been identified by comparing both the original and simplified form of “Caddeler” in the 8th grade Turkish textbook which belongs to “Evren Publishing“. According to the results of the study; while significant differences aren’t seen between readability levels, the number of words, phrases and sentence structures between the original text and the simplified text, the simplification studies which are made on words and word groups have been found to cause the meaning change.
