Abstract
Dil, sürekli değişen ve gelişen bir iletişim aracıdır. Türkçe de diğer diller gibi kendini tarihsel süreç boyunca yenileyen, geliştiren ve değiştiren bir dildir. Yenilik değişim ve gelişim, Türkçenin kendi bünyesinde olduğu gibi diğer diller ile de kurduğu ilişki sayesinde devam edegelmiştir. Türkçe, gelişim ve değişimini hem kendi imkânlarıyla hem de ilişkide bulunduğu dillerden kavram işareti alarak gerçekleştirir. Yapılan bu alışverişte bazı terimler ve kavramlar ait olduğu dildeki ses ve anlam değerlerini değiştirerek veya geliştirerek geçeceği yeni dilin ses, anlam ve kültürel değer ile birlikte dil bilgisi kurallarına uygun biçimde şekil alır ve değişir. Türkçeye diğer dillerden geçen terim, kavram ve sözcükler de bu yöntemle Türkçenin söz varlığında yerini alır. Eski Uygur Türkçesi Dönemi, Türkçenin yazı dili olma sürecindeki en önemli dönemeçlerden biridir. Çünkü Eski Uygur Türkçesi Dönemi’nde Budizm ve Manihaizm’in etkisiyle diğer dillerden birçok din temalı, konulu eser; Toharca ve Çinceden Eski Uygur Türkçesi’ne çevrilmiştir. Yapılan çeviriler ile birlikte Budizm’in kapsama alanında olan birden fazla disipline ait sözcük, kavram ve terim Eski Uygur Türkçesi’ne geçmiştir. Öyle ki yazılı eserlerdeki kavram, terim ve sözcükler terminoloji oluşturacak seviyede etkili olmuşlardır. Ayrıca din dışında; siyaset, ticaret, hukuk, psikoloji, biyoloji, anatomi, tıp, astronomi ve benzeri birçok disipline ait yeni kavram, terim ve sözcükler Eski Uygur Türkçesi’nin söz varlığına dâhil olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Sanskritçedeki peśī kavramının Türkçeye besi biçiminde kavram işareti olarak alınma (ödünçlenme) yöntemi ile işaretlenip işaretlenmediği; kavramın Türkçenin diğer lehçe ve şivelerinde yer alıp almadığı ve besi kavram işaretinin anlam değerine karşılık gelip gelmediği üzerinde durulacak ve tartışılacaktır. Kavramdan hangi eserde bahsedildiği, bulunduğu tarihsel dönemdeki dilsel anlam değeri ve Eski Uygur Türkçesi metinleri içindeki karşılık geldiği kavram işareti anlam değerine dikkat çekilecektir. Ayrıca Köken Bilim Sözlüklerinden örnekler verilerek de açıklamalar yapılacaktır.

Özet
Language is a constantly changing and evolving communication tool. Like other languages in Turkish, it is a language that renews, develops and changes itself throughout the historical process. Innovation has continued with the change and development, as well as with the other languages in Turkish. Turkish carries out its development and change by taking a concept sign both from its own means and from the languages it is related to. Some of the terms and concepts in this exchange will change and change the sound and meaning values in the language of the new language will change the sound, meaning and cultural value along with the rules of grammar and changes according to the rules. The terms, concepts and words that pass from other languages into Turkish take place in the vocabulary of Turkish with this method. The Old Uighur Turkish Period is one of the most important turning points in the process of Turkish being written language. Because of the influence of Buddhism and Manichaism in the Old Uighur Turkish Period, many other religious themed works from other languages; It has been translated from Toharic and Chinese into Old Uighur Turkish. With the translations, words, concepts and terms belonging to more than one discipline within the scope of Buddhism have been transferred to Old Uighur Turkish. So much so that the concepts, terms and words in the written works have been effective at the level of terminology. Besides religion; new concepts, terms and words of many disciplines such as politics, commerce, law, psychology, biology, anatomy, medicine, astronomy and so on are included in the vocabulary of Old Uighur Turkish. In this study, we will focus on the word “flesh, meat” which can be thought to be transmitted through Sanskrit (peśī) to Turkish by voice exchange. It will be pointed out the function of the word, the linguistic meaning in the historical period in which it is mentioned, and the concept sign that corresponds to the texts of Old Uygur Turkish. In addition, examples will be given from the Etimological Dictionaries.
