Abstract
Bir dili öğrenmek ve etkili bir şekilde kullanmak için o dilin kurallarını da iyi bilmek gerekir. Program uygulayıcılarından beklenen ise kazanımları işlevsel dil bilgisi yaklaşımına uygun bir şekilde öğrencilere kazandırmaktır. Bunun için de öğretmen adaylarının dil bilgisi konularının işlevlerini bilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmada, Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının, ad durum eklerinin şekil ve anlam özelliklerini belirleyebilme durumlarını tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemini Türkiye’de bulunan altı devlet üniversitesinin Türkçe Öğretmenliği Programlarında, dördüncü sınıfa devam eden 181 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında örnekleme +(y)A; +(y)I; +DA; +DAn ad durum eklerinin yer aldığı altı çizili kelimeleri içerisinde barındıran toplam 40 cümle verilmiştir. Toplam puanlar bazında 5 öğretmen adayı içerisinden 0 alırken, bir öğretmen adayı 19 ile en yüksek puanı almıştır. Ayrıca öğrenim görülen üniversite değişkenine göre gruplar arasında Doğu Anadolu ve Ege Bölgelerinde yer alan grupların ad durum eklerini ve işlevlerini belirleyebilme düzeyleri bakımından diğerlerine göre daha başarılı oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Özet
Basically, learning and effectively using a language necessitates to know the rules of that language. What is expected of the program practitioners is to give the attainments to the students in accordance with the functional grammar approach. Therefore, prospective teachers need to know the functions of grammar subjects. In this study, it was aimed to determine the competence levels of prospective Turkish teachers about the shape and meaning properties of case suffixes. In the study, the survey model was used. The sample of the study was comprised of 181 senior students, who were studying Turkish Teaching Programs in the six state universities in Turkey in 2018-2019 Spring term. In the study, the sample group was given totally 40 sentences. As the conclusion of the study, it was determined that, among the 181 prospective Turkish teachers, 5 students (2.7 %) scored 0 points, which was the lowest score, and 1 student (0.6 %) scored 19 points, which was the highest score. Based on the variable of university they attend it can be mentioned that the participant prospective Turkish teachers representing Eastern Anatolia and Aegean Regions were more successful in determining the case suffixes and their functions compared to the students from the other regions.
