Family and kinship culture which includes traditional associations, is based on very good foundation in the Turkish society. As a result of this, the terms of the closeness and kinship in the Turkish language are enormous when compared to other languages. The terms of kinship, human, animal, and plant which have an important place in the Turkic language, are considered as basic words. Traditions of kinship and proximity terms provide important clues about culture while revealing the richness and authenticity of the language. For this reason, these words are among the earliest words mentioned in such topics as language learning and teaching, grammar, kinship of languages, lifestyles and cultures of societies.
Kazakh Turkish, a dialect of the Turkic people, has noted that there is a lot of kinship and proximity when it comes to verbal existence, and it has reached the terms that bet on it from various sources. It has been observed that the terms were first related to blood ties and marriage but it was seen that some factors in addition to this inclusiveness also influenced the formation of the closeness and kinship terms in Kazakh Turkic. Various classifications have been made by taking these factors into consideration and exemplary terms have been shown under the headings with their meanings.
