Abstract
THE ANALYSIS OF NAZLI ERAY’S KADIN TOHUMU IN FEMINIST LITERARY CRITICISM
Feminism is a theoretical and political movement based on sexist bias and seeking solutions to the causes of discrimination between genders. The active role of literature in maintaining and sustaining such distinction leads to the same movement to exist in literary context as feminist literary criticism. In the study, Kadın Tohumu, which is a text that is woman presented by the female author in terms of the female point of view, will be examined. The analysed story criticizes the view of society, man, woman and woman-man relations, and internalized gender. The woman is defined according to man and from his point of view; it is the object that is necessary for the home, man, lacking in individuality, self and subjectivity. The writer, who works the object state of woman in a fantasy context, criticizes the woman's secondary status by making it visible.
