    TR DIZIN 2020 Etik Kriterleri  kapsamında, dergimize 2020 yılında gönderilen ve gönderilecek olan yayınlar için Etik Kurul Belgesi zorunlu olacaktır. Abstract


STUDY OF THE BOOK NAMED ‘ŞİİR GEMİSİ’ WRITTEN BY AYLA ÇINAROĞLU IN TERMS OF LANGUAGE AND EXPRESSION
Texts written for children have their own genuine functions and components. Language and expressions is one of those components. Text are required to have some principles in the context of language and expression for language skill development. These principles help children richen their vocabulary and understand possible expressions of language. Poems, besides all other text types, have a special status when it comes to principles. So, how language and expression should be discussed with the Turkish education process in mind in this research. The purpose of this research is study of the book named ‘Şiir Gemisi’ written by Ayla Çınaroğlu in terms of language and expression. Language and expression should be structured in terms of language development features at children’s age levels the texts are written for. The texts should include figure of speech based on metaphors; yet, child reader should not be overwhelmed by these. The meaning should lead neither boredom nor lots of images; it should be restrained. In this research, the book ‘Şiir Gemisi’ by Ayla Çınaroğlu was studied in terms of language and expression and theoretical information was embodied by examples. Literature review was conducted in this research as this study is a qualitative research. Data regarding Şiir Gemisi book was gathered via document review and content analysis was applied to analyze data. It was determined that Çınaroğlu’s Siir Gemisi is organized with the relativism for children in mind. The poet also was decided to present her poems to the readers with an imaginative expression.
