Abstract
A STUDY ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC STRUCTURES AND LIFE STYLES OF EURASIA NOMADS
The practice of the west labeling anyone other themselves as barbarians dates back to Ancient Greece. Although this word was used to define anyone other than themselves, it later evolved into a word meaning societies less civilised than themselves. One of the greatest fallacies of our time is the idea that life in settlements represented civilisation and that nomadic life represented a lack of development. Both types of society had their own unique merits and supremacy of one over the other only occurred in rare events. In this article we intend to give information concerning the social structure of the nomadic Turks and focus on the injustices done to the nomadic life.
