Abstract
JOINT CULTURAL ELEMENTS IN TRANSITIONAL PERIODS OF COMMUNITIES LIVING IN MACEDONIA – TURKISH, MACEDONIAN, ALBANIAN AND BOSNIAN EXAMPLE
The traditional culture is mostly vivid in the course of transitional periods of life, where societies have maintained alive and their cultural values. Individuals are thus socialized and developed cultural links with the culture of the society they live in. This approach, which is a natural process in achieving social cohesion, was observed in the early period of history. Macedonia, the subject of this paper, is located in the Balkan Peninsula. Taking into consideration the dominant cults of the Balkans, Turkish culture has dominated for a long time and a played instrumental role in terms of cultural interactions.
Our work is limited to transitional periods in Macedonian societies. Our studies on these areas reflecting the cultures of the societies, shows us that the Turkish culture enriched with elements from the Balkan societies, continues to live in the Balkans, especially among communities living in Macedonia.
