Abstract
EXAMINATION OF NECATI GÜNGÖR'S CHILDREN'S STORIES IN TERMS OF STARTING AND FINISHING THE FICTIONAL NARRATIVE
Event, person, space and time are the elements that make up the structure of the literary text. Time shapes the movements of people who exist in a particular space in the story and enables the reception process of the text for reader. In this respect, the moments of beginning and ending of literary texts are very important. This study aims to examine Necati Güngör's books like Papatya Gelin, Sevgili Öğretmenim, Sessiz Yürek, Anneme Bir Ev Alacağım, Bir Hikâye Yaz İçinde İnsan Olsun in terms of starting and ending types of the important articles of the children's storytelling. In the study, the classification developed by Kıran and Kıran (2011) was taken as a basis. The data of the study were analyzed and interpreted using categorical analysis from content analysis methods. In the study, it is determined that the most dominant beginning form in the stories is the static beginning (f=14) and the least one is delayed beginning (f=5). It is also seen that the most common ending is happy ending (f=16); and the least one possible ending (f=1).
