Abstract
THE OLD TURKISH MEN ACCORDING TO THE WORDS WHICH PASTS ON THE PERSONAL NAMES IN YENISEY INSCRIPTIONS
In the article were examined words in the structure of the person’s name of Yenisei inscriptions in terms of cultural linguistics. Because Yenisei Turkish inscriptions as the oldest written texts of the Turkish are very important in terms of our research and understanding old folk culture, philosophy and life of Ancient Turkic tribes. People names are the most important unit of language in terms of contain cultural values and philosophical information. Therefore the first data will be discussed studying ancient texts in terms of cultural linguistics are names of people and the words that compose them. In this article has been investigated for nearly thirty words, which has been found to reflect deep cultural information. For example, the words köni and tüz means honestly, loyal and true. And has been found that these words reflect that the persons are honest, right, referring with these words. It has been found that with the word enlig given a tradition of old Turkics. Brave men drew stamps into their hands with needle.
