Abstract
TRADITIONAL TURKISH NARRATIVE HEROES RENEWED IN VIRTUAL CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT
One of the developments that lead to the history of humanity is the simplification and diffusion of internet usage. In this universal network, which is widely used in platforms such as social media, face-to-face communication has been replaced by virtual communication. The cultural elements shaped according to the various changes and developments of the society they belong to have been re-created in the light of these communicative variations. This situation, which occurs in the context of the way individuals produce content depending on their own thinking and perception and can share them with a wide audience in a virtual environment, meets the expectations and needs of the age and gets rid of individuality and takes on a social structure. Thus, the new form of creation created by a single person according to his own taste and thought becomes a collective element by being accepted and accepted by other individuals who use virtual platforms. In our opinion, the traditional elements of Turkish culture are being recreated according to the requirements of the era. In this study, the traditional Turkish narrative heroes Nasreddin Hoca, Keloğlan, Dede Korkut, Deli Dumrul and Ferhat were updated and evaluated during a virtual culture.
