Abstract
ABOUT GÖRE PREPOSITION IN TURKEY TURKISH AND KÖRE PREPOSITION IN NEW UIGHUR TURKISH
Today’s dialects, while preserving certain uses in historical dialects, sometimes change them and develop their own use. The preposition which is used form of köre in Khwarazm Turkish, Kipchak Turkish, Chagatai Turkish and form of göre in the Old Anatolian Turkish, is used the form of köre in New Uighur Turkish, form of göre in the Turkey Turkish. There are some differences in the grammatical structures of this preposition in the two dialects and in the functions that are gained due to this structure. The preposition is used in Turkey Turkish in the form of dative case suffix+göre; dative case suffix+köre and ablative case suffix+köre are the forms used in New Uighur Turkish. In this article, the preposition will be described comparatively in terms of their usage patterns and functions in both dialects.
