Abstract
VALUE EDUCATION IN CHILDREN THEATERS PLAYED IN STATE THEATERS AND CONTRIBUTION TO THESE THEATER PLAYS TO TURKISH TEACHING
The aim of this study is to examine the children's play played in state theaters in 2016-2017 in terms of values education and contribution to Turkish. This study is a descriptive study and was conductedusing the document review method. The sample of this study forms the children's theater games called Sihirli Sirk, Tiyatro Makinası, İMBÖ, Sihirli Köpek, Savaş Çiçekleri, Ayışığı Sirki, Ali Baba ve Kırk Haramiler, Sayı Dedektifleri, Sihirli Keman.
As a result of this work, it is concluded that children theatre plays played in state theaters in the 2016-2017 season have a rich content in terms of values; they contain less amount of proverbs in terms of their contribution to Turkish, but they containidioms, reduplications, routines and on omatopeic words more intensively. It is thought that the plays studied can be used as resources for Turkish teaching and value education.
