Abstract
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION AND ITS REFLECTIONS ON CURRICULA
The world’s largest international organizations and scientists, especiall the UN, are committed to ensure global transformation and consider the transition from conventional high development to sustainable development as a requirement and propose participatory global citizenship as a solution to global problems. In the roadmap on the implementation of the Global Action Program on Sustainable Development Education, Sustainable Development Education was described as holistic and transformational education that achieves its goals by transforming the society.
The data obtained from the interviews conducted with education experts on sustainable development education emphasized the necessity and significance of sustainable development education.
In the study, the mixed methodology that includes both quantitative and qualitative dimensions was used. The data obtained from the interviews conducted with education experts on sustainable development education emphasized the necessity and significance of sustainable development education.
