Abstract
NEW CONTRIBUTIONS TO ÂŞIK ÖMER’S DIWAN-III
Due to manuscripts (cönk) with their rich contents, which are one of the most important written sources of Turkish culture, unseen minstrels (âşık)/ poets have been unearthed and variants of poems of known minstrels / poets have been reached. In this study, it was identified with other poems, which were not in the arranged diwan Âşık Ömer who is 17th century magnificent minstrels in Hâfız Halil İbrahim Efendi’s Cönk, registered with the number “06 Mil Yz Cönk 51”. 30 new poems, which were identified in this manuscript and were not included in the diwan, were added to the earlier contributions to the published diwan of Âşık Ömer.
