    TR DIZIN 2020 Etik Kriterleri  kapsamında, dergimize 2020 yılında gönderilen ve gönderilecek olan yayınlar için Etik Kurul Belgesi zorunlu olacaktır. Abstract


AHMET AGAOGLU IN PARIS LITERARY-SCIENTIFIC ENVIRONMENT AND IN FRENCH PRESS (1888-1893)
Ahmet Agaoglu (1869-1939) is one of the prominent public and political figures, as well as a great thinker and encyclopaedist of the Turkic world in the XX century. He was born in the center of Karabakh, Shusha city and passed away in Istanbul. With exception of his educational years in Paris and exile in Malta, A. Agaoglu spent approximately half of his 70-year life in Azerbaijan, and the other half in his second homeland Turkey - initially in the Ottoman Empire and then in the Republic of Turkey. He was known as one of the founders of Turkicism, published numerous books, has worked in both countries as an intellectual with a wide creative field - publicist, newspaper editor, member of Parliament, university professor, liberal politician, enlightener. The years spent in France (1888-1893) played an important role in the intellectual development of A. Agaoglu. Here, in College de France he studied humanitarian, and received the law degree in Sorbonne University. His first connections with “Young Turks” movement - the Foundation of Union and Progress were made in Paris, and there the significant changes occurred in his outlook, socio-political and national-moral views.
