Abstract
VALUES GETTING LEVELS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES CURRICULUM
Aim of this research is establishing the students’ value getting levels primary school in 4th grade social studies curriculum. In this research a descriptive working in scanning model has been done which is a component of quantitative research methods. The sample of the research in 2012-2013 academic year with randomly selected from the district center and the Çanakkale (Çan, Biga, Bayramiç and Gelibolu) 3 form 536 students from the 4th grade of primary school. To collect data for the study, which was developed by researchers for students "Values Education Survey" was used. The findings obtained in this study were analysed with SPSS 18.0 software package. T-test and analysis of the data one way variance (ANOVA) analysis was used.
According to research, the students; the number of people in the family and the most watched television programs they kind of 4th grade social studies curriculum based on the values found no significant difference between the acquisition levels. Students; gender, education level of the mother and father, according to the fourth grade social studies classes in the values of the variable gain levels were significant differences in the curriculum.
