Abstract
TEXLINGUISTICS ANALYSIS OF A MURABBA BY FUZÛLÎ
Text linguistics is a relatively new method of text analysis that stands out among text-centered literary theories. With this method, on the one hand, the textuality criteria are questioned, and on the other hand, the style of the text producer is revealed. In particular, the text linguistic analysis, which we frequently see examples in modern literary texts, has started to reach a certain point in determining the structure and content of the work. However, in our classical literature, text-based examination methods generally continue within the framework of annotation and analysis studies, except for structuralist and ontological discourse analysis in recent decades. The literature scans we have done show the lack of a study in classical literary texts, in which all aspects of the linguistics theory are addressed. In this study, which we consider to be the first in this context, we aimed to reveal the new dimensions gained by the text linguistics approach, which is an alternative linguistic analysis method of classical literature texts.
In this article, the emergence of text linguistics, which is separated from classical eloquence studies with its approach to the whole text, its objectives, its contributions to the understanding of the text are emphasized, and Fuzûlî's verse, which is an example of a repeating murabba, is analyzed based on the text linguistics criteria.
