Abstract
AN ASSESSMENT ON THE CONCEPTUAL SIGN OF “YUÇUL BODUN” IN THE WORKS OF THE OLD UIGHUR TURKISH PERIOD OF THE BUDDHIST ENVIRONMENT
Language is a phenomenon which is at the focus of cultural interaction and effectively uses the quality of being a communicative tool which is one of its basic functions. Thus, the individual who uses the language fulfills his / her basic needs with his / her own purposes. On the other hand, language is influenced and influenced by various disciplines and fields such as religion, politics, law, commerce and literature. This interaction, which was mentioned in terms of its historical periods in Turkish, was intensively experienced in Old Uighur Turkish Period. In this context, the Old Uighur Turkish works of Buddhist environment contain many concepts, concept signs, words and terms that are predominantly related to religious terminology in the context of the text due to cultural, political and economic interaction with the nations with which the period was connected. Texts that contain many terms, concepts and concept signs intensively affect the meaning value of many concept signs that they mark in Turkish in the context of sentences and this situation creates problems from time to time in terms of meaning. The resulting problem situation that naturally affects the work of the cycle correctly in the Turkish Turkey. In the works in which the concept mark (yuçul) is mentioned, this kind of problem created a problem and the meaning value of this concept mark was cautiously approached by the authors of the works.
In the study, the meaning value in the works in which the concept sign is passed will be reassessed from the origin of the concept sign and the meaning value thought to be correct will be proposed.
