Abstract
AN INVESTIGATION ON TRENDS OF STUDIES ON HOMEMADE LANGUAGE TEACHING TO SPECIALLY TALENTED STUDENTS (2017-2020)
This study, which aims to determine the tendencies of studies on mother tongue teaching (2017-2020) for specially talented students, has examined postgraduate theses in the National Thesis Center, articles in Dergipark and Google Scholar. In this study, the sample group is the studies on mother tongue education for 2017-2020 specially talented students. In this context, 26 studies included in the data set of the research were identified. After the data to be analyzed were collected through document analysis, they were analyzed by content analysis method. After the categories and codes created by the researcher were sent to another experts and than reliability calculations were made. According to research, 2018 was the year in which the most studies were produced between 2017-2020. 57.69% of the studies are articles. The most preferred group as the sample group is secondary school students (42.30%). When examined according to language skills, no studies were found in the fields of listening and speaking, and the most studied area was reading (38.46%). As the method, the most chosen method is quantitative (42.3%). The most researched section is Turkish Education / Teaching (57.69%). The subject most preferred by the researchers was 'Attitude, interest, self-efficacy, habit' (26.92%).
