Abstract
TEACHER'S OPINIONS ON THE PROCESSING OF TURKISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE COURSES
The aim of this study is to determine whether there are positive and / or negative reflections of the Turkish language and literature curriculum, textbooks; the physical conditions of the school and the classroom, students' attitudes towards the course and it is to be able to get the solution suggestions of the teachers regarding them if there are negative reflections. The sample of the study, designed in the pattern of phenomenology, consists of 25 Turkish language and literature teachers working in the central district of Adıyaman.
The data collected from these teachers through semi-structured interview forms were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the study, although many variables have positive and negative reflections on the teaching of Turkish language and literature lessons, teachers mostly focused on negative reflections. While the most frequently mentioned negative reflection by the teachers is “the absence of separate classrooms for Turkish language and literature lessons”; among the proposed solutions, the most frequently mentioned one is "private classrooms should be prepared for Turkish language and literature lessons".
