Abstract
TENDENCIES OF RESEARCHES ON REFLECTIVE THINKING PRACTICES IN TURKISH LANGUAGE TEACHING
This research aims to determine the research tendencies of scientific articles and graduate theses on reflective thinking skills, teaching, and the learning process in Turkish language teaching. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The research data source consists of scientific articles and postgraduate theses, prepared until June 2021, on reflective thinking skills in Turkish language teaching. The data obtained from the research were analyzed by document analysis. It has been revealed that the studies on reflective thinking in Turkish language teaching are mostly about teacher training, followed by reading and writing education, teaching Turkish language as a mother language and a foreign language. Mostly, the quantitative research method was preferred in the articles and theses. However, it was concluded that more teachers were chosen as samples in the studies in the data source.
