Abstract
THE CLASSIFICATION Of HOÍD TAMIR INSCRIPTIONS ACCORDING TO CONTENT CHARACTERISTICS AND AN EXPERIMENT ON THE MEANING OF HOÍD TAMIR X INSCRIPTION
The rock inscriptions known as the Hoíd Tamir or Taikhar Chuluu Inscriptions in Mongolia are on the Hoíd Tamir rock. According to the information given by Alyılmaz, the GPS information of the rock where the inscriptions are located is 1596 m, 47T 0669407, UTM 5274337 (2003, p.188). There are many inscriptions on this rock. The writings on the rock need to be preserved. Because they have suffered too much damage. The inscriptions were written in various alphabets in various periods. In order to understand the importance that the ancient Turkic people gave to the region in their own time, the study was based on the runic letters found on the rock. In addition, it is aimed to reveal some findings about the world of belief and thought of the ancient Turkic people. The runic-letter inscriptions here are generally similar to each other in terms of their content. There is no convincing reading and interpretation work on the Hoíd Tamir X inscription, which differs from other inscriptions in the region. For this reason, the Hoíd Tamir X inscription was tried to be evaluated by reading and making two interpretations.
