Abstract
A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON INTRALINGUAL TRANSLATIONS OF STORY OF BAMSI BEYREK IN OGHUZ GROUP TURKISH DIALECTS
Dede Korkut Stories, which are one of the most precious works of the Oghuzs with their historical value and cultural content, have managed to preserve their value even after centuries. Dede Korkut Stories, transmitted in the language of the Oghuzs, are diachronic works of Turkish, Azerbaijani and Turkoman. Some changes in the lexical structure of each dialect in the historical process have made it difficult to understand the work today. As a result of the decrease in the rate of intelligibility over time, the work was rewritten and made it necessary to intra-lingual translation.
A comparative analysis was made on the basis of story of Bamsı Beyrek the intralingual translation made by Özçelik (2016), Hacıyev (2004) and Gürgenli (2005). Consistency between the source text and the target texts constitutes the basis of the our study in these diachronic intralinguistic translations. In the analyzed intralingual translations, lexical and syntactic deletions and additions structures were tried to be determined.
