Abstract
EXAMINATION OF GRADUATE THESES ON COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The aim of this study is to examine the graduate theses written on communication skills in the field of education and training in Turkey between 2010 and 2021 and thus to contribute to the studies to be done on this subject. In the study, document analysis method, one of the qualitative research designs, was preferred. While the data collection sources consisted of 526 graduate theses on communication skills in the field of education and training written between 2010 and 2021, the sample consisted of 217 theses determined by criterion sampling method. The data obtained in the study were evaluated by content analysis. As a result of the study, it has been seen that the graduate theses made about communication skills in the field of education and training have been studied more in recent years, and they have usually been written as a master's thesis. In addition, it was understood that most of the theses were conducted using quantitative methods, and therefore quantitative data collection tools and quantitative analysis techniques were preferred. On the other hand, although it has been determined that many universities have studied the theses, the irregularity of this distribution (more than ten graduate theses have been written by some universities on communication skills in the field of education and training; only one or zero theses have been written by some universities).
