Abstract
ANALYSIS OF ACADEMIC STUDIES ON BRAIN-BASED LEARNING
The aim of this research is to examine theses and articles about brain-based learning with meta synthesis method. The research includes a total of 26 studies, including 21 theses and 5 articles, prepared on the basis of brain-based learning between 2000 and 2020. To the studies within the scope of the research; Dergipark, Higher Education Council (YÖK) national thesis scanning center, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, Google Academic and ERIC search engine and databases. In this study, meta synthesis, which is one of the qualitative research designs, was used because it was aimed to examine studies on brain-based learning using qualitative methods and to determine general trends related to the subject in this context. The data obtained in the research, studies on brain-based learning; It was analyzed in the context of the fields, aims, methods, sample groups, data collection tools, results and recommendations. As a result of the research, it was determined that many studies were conducted on brain-based learning and these studies were generally carried out to determine the views of teachers, teacher candidates and students regarding the relevant subject.
