The teaching profession, which is in an important position today as it was in the past, has a direct impact on the future of our country due to its mission. The aim of the study is to reveal the opinions of teachers about the "Teaching Profession Law". Case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. In the creation of the study group, criterion sampling, one of the purposive sampling methods, was preferred. In this context, teachers working in the Ministry of National Education and having at least a master's degree level constituted the study group of the research. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool, and the data collected in the research were analyzed with descriptive statistics. As a result of the research, it was found that teachers had a positive opinion about the Teaching Profession Law, but the did not meet their expectations, in the career ladder application; It has been concluded that the expected time for specialist and head teachers should be shorter, the academic studies and projects of teachers should be included in the career steps, and regulations should be made that will motivate teachers at the point of personal development and provide economic improvements.
