The aim of this study was to identify the values expressed in 107 poems from the poetry book “Kucağımda Dünya Var Çocukların Dünyası” written by Azerbaijani writer Bilal Enser in Azerbaijani Turkish, using the phenomenological design, a qualitative research method. The research findings identified 322 value expressions in the poems, encompassing 16 different values. The poems frequently mention the value of love, followed by sharing and patriotism. Loyalty and generosity are the least frequently mentioned values. The study's results indicate that the distribution of values in the poems is unequal and not close to each other. Furthermore, it was found that the most commonly used value in Azerbaijani Turkish poetry is love, which is expected to benefit society. It is also suggested that research be conducted to identify the values present in poetry books for children published in other Turkic Republics.
