Abstract
DEDE KORKUT IN THE SILK ROAD
The reading of the historical texts is something that requires a lot of patience as well as a jeweler’s precision. Each reading that we do for a sentence or a word of a historical text, a new information that has been learnt can illuminate, lead and provide you with a new idea; in short, it can also enlighten your research topic and provide you the power to make the very important move. Therefore, this issue is very important in terms of evaluating making conclusion and making a synthesis of the historical data obtained as a result of reading the texts which seem close or far to each other and with the common characteristics of the texts. It would not be wrong to say that for text researchers doing reading that they often experience this. However, it important to write and pass these experiences on for similar studies. Accordingly, this paper, deals with the reading experience of Dede Korkut and the results have also been highlighted.
