Abstract
TÖLÖGÖN KASIMBEKOV THE CETİLGEN KURAK (MATURE GENERATION) NOVEL STRUCTURE AND SUBJECT: SOVIET TYPE OF HUMAN CREATION PROCESS
As a manifestation of social life literature reveales the experiential experience in shaping the imagination of the authors. Writers as the voice of the community depicts the traces of ideology and social life through their works. Literary works written as part of Turkic world is very important vassal to reach historical truths which have been covered over the period. More known of his historical novels Kyrgyz writer Tölögön Kasımbekov clearly told the effects of the regime and its ideology on the social life in his book Mature Generation. The main characters of the novel Esen is a representation of Soviet-type people that the Soviets wanted to create. Esen is located in the center of the fiction and is given as a reflection of the ideal future of the Kyrgyz youth. The language of the type of people that the Soviets wanted to create will be Russian, his religion will be Christianity or atheism, and the culture will be the Russian culture.
Esen grew up in orphans’ house and was fostered under the influence of Russian culture, became a teacher of Russian language and literature plays a key role in dramatic action in the novel as a carrier of this mission. Novel will be examined through the structural and thematic features. Structurally, time, place, and plot will be evaluated based on factors such as perspective and staff. As the thematic; the novel will be looked around subtitles of “communism and Russification” “self-actualization fight/individuality” “cultural alienation” and “love”.
