Abstract
Validity and Reliability Study of the University Level Turkish Language Course Attitude Scale
This study aims to develop a scale to measure attitudes of university students for Turkish Language course. The data have been collected from total 331 university students taking Turkish Language course. As a result of the studies, Item Total point correlations of all items were found to be p<0.01, which is significant, the Cronbach Alpha coefficient was found as 0.96 and factor load of all items was over 0.60 and that t-values of the scale pertaining to distinctive feature of the scale were all found significant. In line with all those findings, it is concluded that the latest version of the scale is valid and reliable and that it can be used to determine the students’ attitudes towards Turkish Language course.
