In the study, demographic factors affecting the quality of school life were examined. In addition, the relationship between the quality of school life and the transition from basic education to secondary education (TEOG) success scores is also examined. While the students studying in secondary schools in the central district of Kars province constitute the universe, the sample consists of 658 students selected impartially from this universe. In the study, data were collected with the School Life Quality Scale. While analyzing the data, the school management size was analyzed with parametric tests since it showed a normal distribution. Teachers, students, feelings towards school and status dimensions were analyzed with nonparametric tests. As a result of the research, a significant difference was observed in teachers, students, school administration and total scores according to the gender variable. According to the class variable, there was a significant difference in teachers' feelings towards school, status and total scores. According to the school variable, there was a significant difference in the sub-dimensions of teachers, students, feelings towards school, and school management. While there is a significant and negative relationship between TEOG success scores and the teachers' dimension of the school life quality scale, there is no significant relationship in the students' dimension. While there is a negative relationship between TEOG success scores and feelings towards school, school management and total dimensions, there is an insignificant relationship in the status dimension.
