The aim of this research is to compile studies related to the educational value of Kutadgu Bilig, and to examine and evaluate relevant research based on certain characteristics.
The research was conducted using the document analysis, and the “Content Analysis” technique was employed for analyzing the data. Through a literature review conducted on TR Index and National Thesis Center databases, a search for studies published on Kutadgu Bilig’s educational value resulted in the identification of 21 articles, 8 master’s theses, and 2 doctoral theses. The obtained data were categorized under 5 different headings and presented in tables.
As a result of the research, it was determined that studies on the educational value of Kutadgu Bilig were mostly concentrated between 2017 and 2021. In many of these studies, research and analysis methods were not specified; those that were mentioned were predominantly designed qualitatively. Additionally, it was found that the data collected in these studies were analyzed through content analysis.
