Ali Ulvi Kurucu completed his primary and secondary education in Konya, and then went to Al-Azhar University in Egypt for higher education. He then moved to Medina, where he spent most of his life and died as an important thinker and poet. Ali Ulvi Kurucu, who wrote poems on various topics, compiled his previously published poems in magazines and newspapers into a book called "Gümüş Tül" in 1962. The book was later published under the name "Gümüş Tül ve Alevler". Mehmet Akif had a significant influence on the literary personality and worldview of the poet. This influence is reflected in Kurucu's poems, and some of his poems are about Mehmet Akif. Four (4) of Kurucu's poems can be evaluated within this context. This article focuses on how Mehmet Akif Ersoy is portrayed in Ali Ulvi Kurucu's poems. The document analysis method was used in the research. The first four poems in the "Akif - İkbâl" chapter of Kurucu's book "Gümüş Tül ve Alevler" were accepted as the document for the research. As a result of the research, it was determined that Kurucu portrays Mehmet Akif as someone who undertook a sublime mission and became a guide for humanity with his work "Safahat". Akif immortalized Turkish people and history by describing them, gave spiritual hope to the Turkish nation with the National Anthem, played an important role in the Turkish National Struggle, and was one of the spiritual architects of the struggle, reminiscent of the Pakistani poet Muhammad Iqbal.
