All the literatures, bear to trace about social life; we can regarded among this traces also occupations. We can find information about various occupations which was available at Ottoman society by means of the classical Turkish poetry. Diving is also an important occupation which was entreated to interesting imaginations and metaphors in classical Turkish poetry. This work is about how to be processed divers and diving in classical Turkish poetry. This work has one prologue and two main parts. The first main part is about Ottoman divers, which were provided the inspiration for classical Turkish poems. The second main part is about how to divers had been seen by classical Turkish poems.
