DİVAN ŞAİRLERİNİN MEYDAN OKUMALARI VE KENDİ ŞİİRLERİNE NAZİRE İSTEKLERİ
Özet
Imitatio is defined as a model of poetry of another poet and a new poem in the same vein, rhyme, or redifiction; educational activities, ensuring the continuity of the tradition of poetry and being a school that educates poets. On the other hand, poets have a variety of factors that lead them to write imitatio, such as proving their literary personality, passing on groundbreaking poetry, challenging answers, and responding to the poetry of their friends. The essence of this work is the call of poets to write imitatio in their own poetry. Divan poets requests to write imitatio in different forms from other poets to their poems by expressing when they have found a new discourse. These requests have been examined in two main themes as challenges with claims of superiority and general demands. The general requests are examined in two sub-chapters, namely the request of a friend and the direct request of a imitatio from a certain poet. It can be said that these types of discourses, which were seen first in the XVIth century, reach peak especially in the XVIIIth century, and even they became traditions in the same period in some places and continued until the XIXth century.
