GAGAUZ YERİ’NDE YAYIMLANAN GUGUŞÇUK ÇOCUK DERGİSİ ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Özet

For the Gagauz, whose language and culture are in danger of extinction, children’s publications written in their native language are of great importance. In this study, examines the first 9 available issues of Guguşçuk children’s magazine, one of the publications in question. First, the identity information and the purpose of the magazine were mentioned, and then it was examined in terms of form and content. The magazine was examined in terms of size, page layout, font design, font size, cover and logo features. All kinds of texts, activities and games in the magazine were also discussed separately under three headings created according to their functions (literary, educational-informative, entertaining-instructive). The literary and educational texts in the magazine were evaluated in terms of subject and theme and their suitability for the age level addressed. Similarly, the magazine’s suitability for the target audience was examined specific to each title. At the same time, the magazine’s writer staff was also selected and examined.
