The lands that today fall within the boundaries of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted many Turkish states and societies throughout history. Thus, there are numerous works of art and culture of the ancient Turkish cultures and civilizations in different regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Rock paintings (petroglyphs), marked stones and sculptures in Kyrgyzstan are also among the most prominent examples of Turkish epigraphy, painting and sculpture. Such works of the ancient Turkish art in Kyrgyzstan have influenced artists living in this land and led them to create works about their historical personalities and national, moral and authentic and values. Kyrgyz artist Baizak ALIBAYEV is one of the leading artists that reflect the values of the land they live in on their art. This paper first briefly mentions the petroglyphs and sculptures of the ancient Turkish cultures and civilizations in Kyrgyzstan and later presents information about ALIBAYEV’s resume and art.
