Özet

The aim of the research is to propound of getting differentiation or not on the level of the first and fourth class students in terms of perception level of the Turkish language preservice teachers on tense, aspect and mood titles. Hence, studying on the knowledge level, what is learnt and how they perceive which is about aspect, mood and tense titles and simple or compound conjugations of Turkish language preservice teachers will be beneficial in terms of organizing the teaching process more effectively. This structures, which are paired with tense, aspect and mood titles, result in various difficulties in teaching Turkish Language because of calling for context based features and pointing abstract concepts on the morphemes which compose this structures mentioned before. Turkish language teachers’ proficiency towards teaching tense, aspect and mood titles on conjugations will make it complex or easy on making understand there abstract concepts over primary school students. The study is designed and determined as qualitative research in terms of non probability working based group and sampling criteria which is in sampling method. The twenty Turkish language preservice teachers, which are 10 of the first grade and 10 of the fourth grade, constituted the study group. On the determination of the teachers in the research, willingness to participate and acceptance to participate in the survey was considered. The data was collected according to the technique of semi-structured interviews which depends on the qualitative data collection techniques and interviews were recorded by using audio recordings. The data obtained was analyzed by making content analysis. At the end of the research, it is expected that it can be discussed with regard to the quality of the knowledge in terms of classification of concepts which are under the title of simple or compound conjugations such as tense, aspect and mood and also aspects of the differentiation of the perception level of the first and the fourth grade Turkish language preservice teachers and thus it can be beneficial on not only teaching these structures, but the literature.
