The aim of this study is to determine the life skills levels of pre-service teachers and to determine what their expectations from universities are to increase their life skills levels. In addition, it was aimed to determine whether the life skills of the pre-service teachers varied according to their studyings in second university and their participation in social-cultural activities. Descriptive sequential pattern was designed as a mixed method. In the study, 330 pre-service teachers registered in the faculty of education were determined as the population. As a result of the research findings, it was concluded that the level of life skills of pre-service teachers was high. In addition, the majority of pre-service teachers participating in the qualitative part of the research emphasized that university education contributes positively to life skills.
