Özet

Music is an art in which people's feelings and thoughts are expressed with sounds. The acquaintance of the Turks with music dates back to B.C. During the Ottoman period, Turkish music and performers were loved, appreciated and supported by everyone from the sultan to the lowest levels of the state. On this occasion, many composers have been trained and music has become systematic. Tune and usul tempo to the system that gives identity to Turkish music. The use of a large number of authorities is an expression of all kinds of human feelings in different ways. Makam and usul references to the system that gives identity to Turkish music. Although music is one of the sources used by the poets of classical Turkish literature, it is noteworthy that most of the poets are masters of this art. In a poem written by Nevres-i Kadim, who lived in the 18th century, in kıtaikebire form, it was seen that the terms related to the tune and tempos, which he used extensively, were related to Mevlevi. The aim of this article is to examine the poem in question in the context of the Mevlevi rite based on the tune and tempos. For this purpose, Sufi terminology was used and the poems were explained in this direction. It is believed that this work contributed to the literature on the relationship between poetry and music.
